Advocating for Inclusivity: Letter to the LTC Board
At Anova, we are unwavering in our commitment to equity and inclusivity for all, particularly the most vulnerable among us. In December 2024, an advertisement ran on London Transit Commission buses that raised serious concerns about its potential harm to transgender and gender-diverse youth.
Our Board of Directors has taken a stand by addressing these concerns in an open letter to the LTC Board. We highlight the importance of aligning advertising practices with the Ontario Human Rights Code and the City of London’s Strategic Plan while emphasizing the life-saving impact of inclusive policies.
